How to Decorate Seasonally on the cheap

When I want to almost anything, I search my house to see what is on hand. In this case I didn't go looking for "fall" but rather for items in the colors of fall, no matter what they were originally. I ended up being able to decorate every room, even though (as I said in another post), I only had about four things that were officially for "fall/Halloween". I decorated my coffee table with a few things I already had around the house, and now the living room is ready for fall. The quilt was one that I made and had folded in my room. The Yankee candles were bought with $15.00 of $25.00 coupons and stored in my gift cabinet. I already had the tin bucket, bought in year's past. On my recent grocery trip I bought a few gourds. and I was done. Although I don't have a picture of it, my mantel has a small face with dried flowers in yellow, orange and gold that I rescued from somewhere. Its amazing what you can do with what you have.
