Projects, Projects, Projects

There's always a nice sense of completion when a project is done!  I tend to keep three or four creative projects going unless I have a deadline. Recently, I had a commission to do an Oklahoma State quilt. Now, nothing against any Oklahoma folks, but I'm just sayin'........ that red............almost as bad as the Texas Tech red I had to quilt before.  Meanwhile, I can now return to my three in progress quilts-one for a gift, one for sale, and one for me!!!

Then I get to move on to an Indianapolis Colts Quilt and a large T shirt project. It's fortunate that I like quilting whether it's for me or for money!

And since we're on the topic of football, why is it again, that that poor Mountain West Conference just gets no respect. I hate their field but they were fantastic last nite. Can you say "play off system?". Ah well........LOL

  2. Your quilts are beautiful! My mom used to make quilts and I cherish the ones she made for me over the years.

    I never got into sewing, my mom was the expert there, but I do always have a couple knitting projects going. I can't just sit and watch TV in the evening. If my hands aren't busy, I fall asleep!

  3. Joan-and so far, I cannot knit worth beans, though I do need to take up something for tv nights-i quilt by machine except for the binding.
