The Open Road

I'll be sharing more about my visit to beautiful Colorado soon....meanwhile, some snaps from my camera along the way.....I hope to take better pictures on my return trip on the scenic route. Although I was driving rather than sight seeing, I did get to get a few pictures (mainly through the car window as the vista changed from cows, plains and grain elevators to mesas and then a mountain pass. As someone who gets no fall "color" where she lives, I am happy to see any change on the landscape as I travel.  The final pcitures are from the courtyard at my sister's home. They are all the explanation anyone needs as to why my thumbs are black-she got all the green, doubled or tripled!

  2. Hi, I haven't stopped by for a while and I wanted to go back and look at some older post but I don't see a back arrow. How does one look at some of your older post?

  4. Some people have a green thumb (like, obviously, your sister; her deck looks fantastic). But that shouldn't stop the rest of us from trying. I find it helps if you just remember to appreciate your naturally occurring indigenous local flora (i.e. weeds).

  6. Thanks for taking us along on your drive. I hope you get some clarity on your situation while you are away - and have a great time visiting your sister of course.
